Story Description
Main Character Little Red Riding Hood
Setting Grandma's house in the forest.
If you ever wondered where storytellers come from...wonder no more. This is an old recording of my father telling me a fractured version of Little Red Riding Hood when I was four of five. I think this story was recorded in the summer of ’72. I had two nicknames as a child. One was Kitty Cat and the other one was Dickle. Kitty Cat I understood, but I have no idea why I was called Dickle…no one does. I’m often asked if I was told stories when I was a kid, this little episode from my childhood answers that question definitively.
Credits My Father, for his foresight to record this story as he told it to me years ago!

Gabe
Gabe is a ghost or at least he thought he was. This is an original tale that offers a non threatening environment to visit a scary place without staying there when the tale is over. Created to provide parents and camp counselors a break from the traditional Ghost tales that left Children scared for days and for the children to still be a part of the classic campfire culture.
