Story Description
Main Character Little Boy
Setting Alaska. In Inuit lore, listening is the key to learning, where most wisdom is passed on from action, modeling and stories.
An Inuit tale about a boy who eats everything and does not listen to the hunters, a magic woman or anyone else - and eats the villagers food. When hunters bring back food after a winter of near starvation, the antics of the boy send him to the stars where people still talk about him today...a lesson to girls and boys on the importance of listening and sharing.
Credits The Inuit people and Edward Keetha.
